It feels hydrating but it dries down quickly once blended. It also concealed the minor zit right below my left eye quite nicely. It was enough for me given that I don’t really have much darkness under my eyes. The coverage was definitely within the light to medium range. It was enough product to blend out under my eyes (which extended down onto my cheeks) and on my eyelids. I used my finger to blend out the product and it did so very easily. Various concealer swatches Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation + Concealers comparedįor the purposes of this demo, I had to mix two shades together to get an appropriate shade match (Medium + Tan). This may be a good thing for individuals who are on the fairer side of the spectrum, but for those who have deeper skin tones, I highly suggest going in and swatching these concealers in person to see if the deepest shades are suitable enough. Currently, since I am more tan it matches me quite well, so I assumed that getting the shade “Medium” in the concealer would be appropriate. As you can see in the image below, the shade “Medium” is extremely light – much lighter than any of the other concealers I own and would wear even at my lightest. If you look back on my review about the Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation, you’ll see that the shade “Medium” was too dark for me. Long story short, they run much lighter than the foundations from the same line. One major problem I have with these concealers is the shade range. In these respects, this concealer definitely lives up to its claims. The finish is definitely more natural – not quite dewy but not extremely matte. It blends out very easily and can easily be built up for more coverage. This concealer is definitely lightweight as described. The doe-foot applicator for this product is a little different compared to other concealers given that the “stage” is a bit wider than normal, but it doesn’t make an immense difference in terms of application or convenience. I don’t really have any issues with it – it is fully functional and seems to be travel friendly. It includes a custom dewdrop applicator that provides the perfect amount of product for an even application.Įssentially, it’s supposed to be a lightweight concealer with mild coverage and a natural finish. Its lightweight texture fuses with the skin and effortlessly delivers light-to-medium, buildable coverage for a natural-looking, non-cakey finish. This 32 percent water-rich concealer is easily blendable, and it blurs imperfections, covers dark circles, hides blemishes and hyper pigmentation, and perfects skintone while creating a radiant-looking complexion. The concealer is given this description on the Sephora website:Īqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer provides weightless, buildable coverage with every water-light drop. It comes in 9 shades which appear to correspond with their foundation equivalents from the same line. For comparison’s sake, the NARS Radiant Creamy concealer comes with 0.22 oz of product also for $36 CAD, whereas the Urban Decay Naked Weightless Complete Coverage concealer comes with 0.16 oz for $35 CAD. The Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer is available on the Sephora website for $36 CAD for 0.18 oz of product. So when I heard that Becca was releasing a concealer in the Aqua Luminous Perfecting line, I was ecstatic! The whole “full coverage” thing isn’t really appealing to me much these days, so I knew I needed to get my hands on these bad boys to see if they do it for me just as well as the foundation does. Their Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation was a great hit for me, especially since I’ve taken interest in light coverage, luminous products. After that, I gently distribute it with a sponge.I’ve been a fan of Becca’s new product releases this past year. I use a small concealer brush for its application. I just started using this foundation to conceal my under eye dark circles. I used to have a concealer from Sephora before but I used it up and just didn’t buy the new one. I can also use this foundation as a concealer. I also don’t have to bother with the way it looks on my face throughout the day. When I apply it, it doesn’t feel like a mask on my face and this is so important for the everyday go-to foundation product. For two years, I had enough time to find a way to use it.) It conceals my skin blemishes (acne, reddening and I can even conceal those big pimples with it, which I sometimes have before the X days. The product beautifully evens out my complexion What is there so special about it? I make out the following: By the way, it’s already 2 years since I started using this foundation and it’s a miracle for me. I was so happy to find out that I can’t find any disadvantages to it. This foundation brings only positive impressions of use.
